LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Joseph Bellino on Wednesday participated in a ride along with the Michigan State Police out of the post in Taylor.
“The men and women of the Michigan State Police and our local law enforcement agencies work tirelessly and often at the risk of their own lives to protect our families and keep our communities safe,” said Bellino, R-Monroe. “It was a great experience to see Trooper Josh Reeber in action, and I want to thank him for his dedicated service and for welcoming me for a ride along during his patrol. Having to put on a bulletproof vest was a blunt reminder of the dangers our officers face every day.”
