LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Joseph Bellino, R-Monroe, and Senate Republican Leader Aric Nesbitt, R-Porter Township, welcomed Judge Michael C. Brown to the Michigan Capitol on Wednesday night as Bellino’s guest for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s 2025 State of the State address.
Brown is the chief judge of the First District Court and heads the Veterans’ Treatment Court in Monroe. Prior to becoming a judge, Brown served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Monroe County. He is also active in numerous state and local nonprofit and professional organizations.
